MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY

Just for a bit of fun and for your interest and education (as I’m a former primary teacher) I’ve put in a graph of my weight loss so far which people have started to notice, all without that unnecessary exercise that the so called experts say you have to have which you don’t keep up. I am losing .5 kg per week and my target is about 71 kg which will be a loss of 15 kg which should take 30 weeks over all. I am about 28 weeks into it. The readings are taken daily upon upon getting up in the morning upon digital scales measuring in 1/10th of a kilo gradiations. The daily variations are accounted for due to having a major dinner event the night before or over the two previous nights. The dark blue line is the morning reading and the white line is the before bed reading. The 2^nd graph is from some 2 years ago when I lost some weight using the tea and got tired of that and went back to coffee (maybe I should combine the two) and then started putting the weight on at .19 kg per week. The coloured lines on the first graph are moving 7 (pink), 14 (green), 28 (blue) and 56 (8 week, orange, retreatment line 1) and 112 (16 week, brown, retreatment line 2) day averages which if doing weight loss graphs you should do daily on your spreadsheet program. On the 2^nd graph different colours have been chosen for ease of reading. A base target pacing line is included in both graphs. To find out how myself and one other are doing it come to one of the dinners and I’ll tell you. Theoretically it will work for anyone to a similar degree as it is quite automatic (fine if you like the tomorrow diet) but you should keep records which I would like in time to see. You might even like to try the Weight Loss Game and earn some money for yourself and perhaps a charity (so much per 1/10th of a kilo lost) by getting sponsors (preferably lots of overweight ones) and donating half to charity, while losing weight ! I will maintain each person’s weight loss records (we meet weekly so you are in a supportive and motivational social environment) and it more than pays for your course !

COMING EVENTS

Do you enjoy hosting parties? Houses/units are needed for small mid week parties for the new people to attend to get to know each other.

If you can offer a place for a small midweek gathering let me know on 8214 8397 or 0419 605 365. People who offer a venue pay no fees at all events.

Would you like to open your place up for an interest evening on some topic or theme? Or would you like to address a small group on some interesting topic which would be of interest to members. Speakers are needed on some topic or theme and a people are asked to offer their places for these small interest evening gatherings. There is no cost for these evenings and people can just brings some light food thing to share or a bottle or two.

Please make sure you book in because if you don't and no one else does and I don't know you're coming to alert you you'll be in for a surprize. If everyone books it works. If you don't book you reduce the apparent numbers and may contribute towards cancellation and you take your chances then turning up. Book in early as it gets the ball rolling ! Also if you are coming from a distance book in by early to get the cheapest price and that should cover your petrol costs.

We choose the restaurants that are giving us the special deals! No high prices for us 'cause we've been going so long and we give them free plugs on the internet and by email and we go back to them from time to time on a repeat basis so they give us really good deals so come along ! (Why be impressed by places that charge excessive prices, they’re all buying from the same food wholsalers and markets for the same prices). You won't get nights and banquets like these if you go on your own (as if you would) or with one or two others. You need to be part of a large group and then you meet lots of new people and maybe someone special (a lot of cluey people have been using the events for just that over the years and have done well). Dinner Club has been a recognized centrepiece on the Sydney social scene for the from time to time unattached (and soon to be) for those seeking to interview members of the opposite sex seeking same and who can sustain good conversation – or just to meet new friends - over a relaxed dinner - and you’ve got to eat so you might as well come to the dinners ! And the events aren’t cliquey and everyone is friendly unlike some other groups.
