Here's how Speed Dating works
These singles events are incredibly popular, so to attend you'll have to be one of the first 15 guys or 15 girls to book. You'll need to get to the venue by 7pm for a 7.15pm kick off. The dating goes until 8.45pm.
At the start, you'll be given a number which other participants will use to identify you on their dating slips. During the evening you'll spend between 8 to 12 minutes in conversation with each member of the opposite sex. Many people use this time to simply chat, others like to be guided by our question sheet

Like to put the fun back in to dating? Then come along to our highly social Speed Dating events where you'll meet as many as 10 - 15 eligible men or women on the one night.
Forget online dating sites where you spend time trawling through pages and pages of lifeless photos and profiles. Our singles events allow you to meet people face to face and get to know them the old fashioned way, in a convivial, social setting over a few drinks and good conversation.

Our Speed Dating nights are great fun as they always attract people with a broad range of personalities and interests. You never know who you could meet on the night, so come along and enjoy the company.

Will you be lucky in love?
At the conclusion of the speed dating sessions, it's time for the Love Lotto. This is where all the dating slips are compared by your host in search of two-way, or primary, matches. Usually 50-60% of participants are involved in primary matches, some more than one. Secondary matches can take the chances of making a match to 80%.
Primary matches are disclosed to the lucky participants on the night, while secondary matches can be discovered upon enquiry after the event.
Since the events finish around 9pm, everyone can stay back and have dinner together as many choose to do.
When and where are Speed Dating events held?
Speed Dating events for different age groups (see our Events page) are held at the Merton Estate Hotel in Rozelle each Monday at 7pm.

Entry and participation in our speed dating events is $25 for two or, possibly, three events. (You get the third event free if you fail to make a match.) If you bring two friends the cost is $22.50 each.
Book nowWhat to do if you get a match
If you do make a match on the night, swap phone numbers, arrange a date within days, and stay back and have a drink together. The keen ones don't have dinner beforehand but have dinner with their match, who hopefully, in anticipation, hasn't had dinner either.
If you get more than one match, just swap phone numbers with your matches and stay back and chat with the group and arrange to meet each match later.
Bonus offers
To make the process of finding a new partner more affordable, you can pay $50 instead of $25 and you can come to any speed dating or dinner event for three months for no extra fee, including for that night.
If you pay $75, we'll double the period to six months.
If you pay $100, you can come to any event for no extra fee for a whole year.
